There is a road in Texas off HWY 290 that everyone should drive at least once in their life. It's HWY 237 and it's home to one of the largest antique shows in the world. This road will lead you past 150 year old live oaks and open fields and the simple life of country living. On this road 5 miles off 290 you will find Blue Hills at Round Top. This magical piece of Texas is known to host one of the fastest growing shows of Round Top Texas. From Movie stars with film crews to Heiresses and all in between they have been spotted searching for that perfect antique or design piece. The vendors are friendly and funny, the finds are unmatched to any other, and the trip to Blue Hills is simply a must!
Owners Dr. Milton Grin and partner Michael Peters have turned this 26 acres / cow pasture / cotton field into a one of a kind venue. In the last 6 years (bought August 2007) with the knowledge of Dr. Grin and the experience of Peters, who runs the day to day operations, the venue has become a true destination spot for the spring and fall antique shoppers.
Each Spring and Fall Blue Hills is host to the bi-yearly antique fairs that bring true excitement to the area. The number of quality dealers hosted by Blue Hills has increased and continues to grow providing more variety with each show. Blue Hills has been featured on both the Tori and Dean show and the Nate Burkus Show. Buyers visiting Blue Hills not only enjoy the top notch amenities offered including free entrance, free parking, Texas BBQ (See Menu) , and most importantly - clean restrooms! What more could a "girl or guy" ask for? All in one stop! On top of all of this is well manicured landscaping and clean grounds!
Here at Blue Hills, dealers pick pieces from all over the world and bring them to Blue Hills twice a year for your shopping needs. Don't worry about buying more than you can carry. We have porters and can arrange for delivery services to your door. From large to small, painted, decorative art, jewelry and more, it can be ALL be found in this one stop shopping venue.
On behalf of Dr. Grin, Mr Peters and all the vendors, we would like to thank everyone who has helped Blue Hills at Round Top become what it is today and for helping us to continue to grow in the future. We look forward to providing each of you an outstanding shopping experience!
